Excuse the mess. I didn't feel like cleaning it up before taking the Before shots. On the window were drapes and the sheer Roman shades. I removed both and hung 6 antique shutters I painted linen white.
I painted these walls a Kiwi green. The other two walls behind you are now an earthy purple (aubergine.) There is a giant mirror in the background that broke during the mayhem.
One casualty ain't all bad (except that it's a broken mirror. Thank GOD I'm not superstitious!) That's Bleu hanging out, watching the commotion.

The ceiling light will be replaced with a chandelier... once I can afford it. And I know - bedroom TVs are bad feng shui!

Coming along. I had to use a sheet until I got the window treatments up (I love privacy.) The Kiwi looks very golden during the day, but is as green as Kiwi at night.
I've got to say, Bleu seems to really like the change. She's calmer, always rolling on her back and looking up and stretching her arms out at me -- is she extending her approval?
