Dining/Office area remodeling

My small dining area is actually my home office, which I recently was forced to refloor because I found glue-covered hardwoods beneath hideous tile that never should have been created. Ever. There are more "before" pix further into the photos....Here is a shot of the dining/office area -- I office here because I have a great view of the backyard. If I used my front bedroom as my office, I'd have a view of the street. The dining area wins!!

Horrific tile, then a thick layer of old, dried glue on the wood floors. I was told by flooring experts to just cover it with more tile or wood. So here comes the bamboo.....
