It's complete except that I want to put one more coat of fauxing on the quarterround. Cutting quarterround is, as a friend says, counter intuitive. You think you should 45 degree it on one side of your miter saw, but noooo, you 45 degree it on the opposite of what you would suspect. Remarkable. Now the cabinets look more like shit than they did before. Paint them? Replace them. And get an apron-front farmhouse sink, which requires a reinforced cabinet anyway to hold the weight.


You'll see that the quarterround fauxing went fairly well, I didn't pay too much attention to my ragging methods, I used old panty hose and paint and slathered it on while I spoke to a girlfriend on the phone. Conversation over, fauxing done!
And that's Rocky, who knows I'm not big on his nails being on the cork, but he gave it a go anyway....
